[And here it comes, but first... Minako gently holds both of Rei's hands between them. Minako looks as if she's about to burst into tears, holding them in real good.]

Rei-chan, growing up so soon. If only everyone else could see... [Tear.]

[Rei...blinks in surprise.]

...You...know Ami-chan has too, right? [A pause, suddenly something coming to mind.]

Have...you gone...all the way?

[Not only someone else is about to get interrogated, but both of her hands begins to suddenly drop. Congrats Rei, Mina's mind went blank.]

Ami-chan's had a boyfriend for...two years?

[And suddenly, Rei's not sure if it's funny anymore.]

I...don't know? I guess I just assumed you'd had girlfriends and boyfriends you were close to back home before you met all of us.

No way! [Minako whips the air with an open palm.] I met some nice guys. It just didn't work out in the end.

...oh, no you don't.

[Rei's smile sharpens and she leans closer, a teasing sparkle in her eyes.]

You're embarrassed aren't you?

[Rei... why you do this?! She's trying so hard not to lean away while covering one hand over her lips.]

Maybe just a little bit? A little persistence are you.

[Rei leans forward more and reaches out for Minako, grabbing her and pulling her over onto the couch for a hug.]

I am a little. Remember that if things were reversed you'd do the same to me. And have, before.

So...how far have you gotten, hmmm?

You have learned so much during our time together.

[Tongue sticks out teasing. In that case, after that hug she's going to lean over Rei's shoulder (if it's okay with Rei).]

Maybe just with first base... [While confessing, she's trying so hard not to turn red and avoiding eye contact.]

I'm a quick learner, sweetie.

[Rei smirks slightly, slipping her arm around Minako so she can lean better and idly twirling a finger through the blonde's hair.]

And you know...I'm a little surprised. A girl as beautiful as you?

Must be your passion for learning.

[She jokes looking towards Rei now.]

You know... Finding the right chemistry, and we all know how I am with science.

[Smirking, she pulls Minako in tighter.]

You're about as good at science as I am. Sometimes you just happen across the right formula. Like...mmm, Fenimore and I. Though I've had some chemistry with other people too.

[Okay, she smirks at that. She makes herself conformable, one hand reaching out and around Rei's stomach. Minako flutter her eyes after hearing that last part.]

[She leans her head against Minako's and sighs wistfully.]

Obviously, I have chemistry with my friends. Some more than others...though. The same as you. And there was a girl...during a shift. And a boy during another.

You don't say. [She says sounding a bit relief.] ...There was one friend back home. Although... [She laughs a little.] haven't gone to the shifting part yet.

And don't you worry. the Malnosso will deliver a shift soon enough.

I'll have to sadly decline that. [The shift gig, unless the Malnosso would like divine punishment.]

I don't know if they'll accept that.

[Rei smiles fondly, and nuzzles with her elbow.]
